Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in applying analytics or model development using data in a professional context.
- Significant experience with statistical techniques, data mining, optimization (linear programming), and predictive models.
- Significant hands-on experience with at least one of the following areas:
- Optimization / Linear Programming (LP)
- Retail/consumer analytics
- Customer and marketing analytics
- Proficiency in hands-on data analysis and modeling using Python.
- Experience with databases and programming languages (SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, NoSQL)
- Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with natural language processing and/or GenAI is an asset.
- Leadership or management experience, including project management in analytical, ML, or data-driven fields.
- Proven track record in leading teams for end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics, data science, or AI/ML solutions.
- Ability to understand the business significance of data, handle data ambiguity, develop creative analytical solutions, and interpret results from a business perspective.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information.
- Interest in continuing to develop analytical and business development skills.
- Industry knowledge in consumer or financial services (FSI) is an asset.
- Professional services, consulting, or advisory experience is an asset.
