Job Description
Delta Dental of Idaho is seeking a Financial Analyst - Underwriting to execute tasks related to underwriting, including rate analysis, regulatory form filings, and contract support management. The successful candidate will collaborate with third-party actuaries and internal resources to ensure accuracy and timeliness in underwriting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math/statistics or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, insurance underwriting, or a related industry
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to use AI tools to extract, structure, and validate data
