Taylor Corporation is seeking a Folder Equipment Operator in our Fridley-MN facility who is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining folding equipment while ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
- Setup, operate, and monitor complex folding machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules
- Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to identify potential issues before they impact production
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime
- Train and mentor new and existing employees on machinery operation, safety protocols, best practices, and quality expectations
- Delegate tasks effectively to enhance team productivity and maintain a smooth workflow
- Serve as a positive role model, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Maintain accurate and detailed records related to equipment performance, production output, and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all departmental policies and procedures
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently and correctly
- Maintain accurate data entry for time keeping, job costing, and MRP job tracking
- Ability to setup of equipment for new products and complex projects
- Materials management – request materials required to maintain productivity
