Controls Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and talented Controls Commissioning Engineer to join our Engineering Group. This role plays a leading role in the deployment of electrical control systems and includes testing and commissioning of materials handling automation hardware and PLC software.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in an Engineering or scientific discipline
• 3+ years proven experience programming, configurating and commissioning Siemens S7-1500 PLCs, Siemens variable speed drives, barcode scanners and safety devices
• Experience commissioning profinet networks
• Experience using Siemens integrated safety
• Ability to work in a project based environment as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team
• Passion for hands on setup and testing of PLC controlled machinery
• Troubleshooting and fault finding during commissioning and handover phases
