Job Description
We are looking for a Controls Engineer to assist with the development of functional specifications, budget costing, and the design and execution of controls installations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and experience in electrical drawings design, electrical installation supervision, and system design.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Experience in electrical drawings design (EPLAN, EEC One, AutoCAD)
- Experience in electrical installation supervision
- Experience in system design (e.g. power calculation, circuit protection design, safety control circuit)
- Experience interfacing materials handling systems with third party equipment's (e.g. automatic tag readers, barcode scanners, weigh scales etc)
- Experience in PLC software development and office testing (TIA Portal, Ladder, SCL, STL)
- Experience in development of testing environments and conducting FATs
- Experience in management of installation crews
- Knowledge of configuration, programming and commissioning of PLCs, variable speed drives and safety devices (Profinet, Profisafe, AS-I, TCP/IP, PN/PN, SEW Movitools, Movimot, Moviaxis.)
- Knowledge of materials handling system controls (WCS and PLC integration)
- Writing of technical documentation
