The Registered Nurse provides and coordinates the care of patients/families and significant others in the ambulatory care setting. The RN is a member of a designated health care team and collaborates, coordinates and guides team members in planning patient care and achieving goals.
Requirements
- AAS/BS/ MSN in Nursing
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in an Ambulatory/Medical Surgery/ER setting
- Demonstrated ability to plan, make decisions, organize, and direct the work of others
- Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform venipuncture and administer medications including immunizations
- Demonstrated clinical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve using critical thinking
- Demonstrated basic computer skills including typing
- Licensed Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
- Current RN Registration Certificate
- Current BCLS
- Current Infection Control Certificate
- Current Child Abuse Certificate
