Job Description
VA Smiles is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide patient care and support the clinical team in Stafford, VA. The position involves supporting treatment, assisting dentists with procedures, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. This is a on-an-as-needed as-needed, 20-hour per week position.
Requirements
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
- 1 year or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
- X-Ray certification
- Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant must maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training
