Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist

We are recruiting for a motivated Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team! As a member of our multidisciplinary consultation-liaison (C-L) psychiatry team, you will provide high quality clinical services to individuals currently hospitalized, often for co-occurring complex medical and psychiatric conditions.

Requirements

• Provide high quality clinical services to individuals currently hospitalized
• Work on a 7-on / 7-off schedule (Monday thru Sunday)
• Obtain relevant medical histories, make appropriate diagnoses, and implement effective, evidence-based treatments
• Conduct risk assessments for suicide and violence among patients at risk due to psychiatric illness
• Consult with providers who are part of the primary medical/surgical team and generate recommendations, referrals, and case management as indicated
