Job Description
We are recruiting for a motivated Professional Coder II to join our team. The Coder II will review medical record documentation to abstract and assign diagnoses, procedures, and modifiers for statistical classification and reimbursement purposes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years experience in medical coding
- Specialty certification (CPC or CCS)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a coding proficiency pre-hire test
