Analyst / Senior Analyst – Detailed Design (Civil)

We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join DESRI based at the firm’s office in Hyderabad, India and will regularly interact with U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties. The candidate will lead or support civil detailed design for utility-scale PV projects from concept to Issue for Construction (IFC), ensuring designs are accurate, constructible, and cost-effective.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Civil Engineering with 2-4 years
• Master of Technology (M. Tech) in Civil or related specialization with 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS)
• Working knowledge of grading, drainage, erosion control, access road design, and tracker-driven layout constraints for utility-scale PV
• Ability to run iterative design optimizations and communicate conclusions via well-organized drawings and design summaries
• Experience with hydrology/stormwater tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, Civil Storm) and layout production tools (PVcase)
• Familiarity with U.S. codes/standards and permitting practices
• Exposure to construction means/methods, field commissioning, and value-engineering for cost and schedule optimization
