Job Description
DESRI is looking for a Manager/Senior Analyst - Grid Studies and Interconnections to join their India office in Hyderabad. The role involves building and validating network models, performing analytical studies for utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects, and supporting interconnection requests.
Requirements
- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 1-4 years of experience
- M.Tech in Power Systems/Renewables with 1-2 years of experience
- Proficiency with power-system analysis tools (e.g., PSS®E/PSLF, PSCAD)
- Short-circuit/arc-flash and protection tools (e.g., ETAP/SKM)
- Grounding analysis (e.g., WinIGS/CDEGS)
- Cable ampacity tools (e.g., CYMCAP)
- Familiarity with U.S. codes/standards (e.g., NEC 70)
- Strong written communication for bottom-line, executive-ready reporting
