UAV Flight-testing and Production Intern

Destinus is a European aerospace and defense company developing AI-driven autonomous flight systems and advanced turbine engines. They are seeking a motivated UAV Flight-Testing and Production Intern to assist in developing and testing the Hornet Interceptor, a cutting-edge electric UAV.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong interest in UAV technology, particularly in electric propulsion and flight systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, multicultural team environment.
• A basic understanding of UAV systems, sensors, and flight control systems is preferred.
• Technical writing skills for documenting procedures, flight results, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with hardware assembly, electronics, or mechanical systems is a plus.
• Willingness to work outdoors and adapt to varied conditions during flight tests.
• Willingness to adapt to changing schedules associated to flight-testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.
