Destinus is a European aerospace and defense company developing AI-driven autonomous flight systems and advanced turbine engines. They are seeking a motivated UAV Flight-Testing and Production Intern to assist in developing and testing the Hornet Interceptor, a cutting-edge electric UAV.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong interest in UAV technology, particularly in electric propulsion and flight systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, multicultural team environment.
- A basic understanding of UAV systems, sensors, and flight control systems is preferred.
- Technical writing skills for documenting procedures, flight results, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with hardware assembly, electronics, or mechanical systems is a plus.
- Willingness to work outdoors and adapt to varied conditions during flight tests.
- Willingness to adapt to changing schedules associated to flight-testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.
