Job Description
The Sales & Community Representative will be responsible for selling all Detroit Tigers Spring Training and Lakeland Flying Tigers ticket packages, hospitality inventory, sponsorship inventory, and providing outstanding service to guests and clients. This role will also manage, implement, execute, and assist in the development of community-based initiatives and programming for Detroit Tigers Spring Training, Lakeland Flying Tigers, and the Tigers Foundation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Sports Management or related degree
- One year of related experience preferred, but not necessary
- Sales and/or customer services experience a strong plus
- Excellent interpersonal, phone and organizational skills
- Ability to self-motivate
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel; plus database management skills
