Private Bank - Operations Regulatory Expert - AVP

We are seeking a Private Bank - Operations Regulatory Expert - AVP to oversee regulatory reporting, conduct reviews, and ensure compliance with regulations in the APAC region. The role requires a minimum of 5-7 years of operations experience in the banking and financial sector.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of operations experience in the banking and financial sector
• Individuals will require transaction reporting and/or regulatory reporting experience
• Good understanding of HKMA / MAS / BaFin / EU (i.e. MIFIR) / US regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with the requirements under the Common Reporting Standards (CRS) / FATCA
• Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
• Expert-level analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving
• Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English
• Displays a high degree of control awareness, attention to detail and focuses on providing quality output
• A strong team player and ability to work under pressure against tight timelines
• The ability to take ownership of process, escalation and client query management
• The ability to work in a fast-paced banking environment managing multiple priorities
• Open minded, able to share information with peers and stakeholders within division and across divisions and regions
