Senior Travel Technician

Deutsche Windtechnik is looking for a Senior Travel Technician to join their wind technician team. The successful candidate will work independently and perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and retrofit activities. They will also develop and maintain excellent customer relationships and demonstrate advanced leadership and management skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years' experience as a Wind Turbine Technician
• Valid driver's license (NON-CDL or CDL)
• Ability to read and interpret documents, and follow instructions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to deal with problems involving at least one concrete variable in standardized situations
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening
• Must be physically fit enough to freely climb 300 ft multiple times a day
• Must be capable of rescuing team mates anywhere in tower in the event of emergency
