Job Description
Devsu is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Ecuador. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions, with a focus on Big Data technologies, SQL, and distributed processing architectures. The candidate will need to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, accelerating the achievement of goals.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a data engineer.
- Experience in SQL and Spark optimization.
- Experience with streaming data.
- Relational and NoSQL databases, Datawarehouse design, Datamarts, Datalakes and Lakehouse.
- Distributed processing with Hadoop, Spark and batch/streaming architectures.
- Development in Python, Scala or Java, applying principles of Clean Code.
- Building pipelines with ETL (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, SSIS).
- Strategies for DataOps/MLOps and CI/CD deployment.
- Desirable: Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Big Data, and experience in modern architectures such as Data Mesh or Data Fabric.
