Job Description
Dewberry is seeking a Construction Inspector to monitor contractor operations, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. This role involves coordination and direct oversight of construction inspections in various projects, handling complex situations with significant project coordination. Requirements
- Coordinates and schedules various phases of construction with the prime contractor and other agencies.
- Reviews and monitors contractors' plan of operation and advises contractors of violations.
- Coordinates changes to construction plans to meet field conditions.
- Makes field measurements of pay items and coordinates materials testing; checks equipment.
- Maintains and reviews comprehensive project records.
- Operates computer equipment and field inspection equipment.
