Job Description
Dewberry is seeking a Traffic Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 in either Fairfax, VA or Baltimore, MD. This internship offers a chance to apply traffic engineering principles in a professional setting and gain hands-on experience. Interns will contribute to projects related to traffic signal design, ITS integration, and roadway automation. Internship is unpaid and is for Summer 2026.
Requirements
- Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in transportation
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD) is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
