Job Description
Dewberry is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to perform water resources and/or water/wastewater work in their New York City office. This internship offers excellent professional growth opportunities in a great working environment, applying technology to solve client problems. A BS in Civil Engineering with a focus in Water Resources is required.
Requirements
- Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or related field
- Knowledge of water quality modeling, wastewater modeling, and water quality regulatory issues (preferred)
- Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design (preferred)
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
- Proficiency in MS Office software
