Dispatcher

DFDS is looking for a Dispatcher to strengthen their international planning team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for carrying out operational and administrative tasks related to transport, following drivers and subcontractors to ensure deliveries are made on time, and supporting daily planning to achieve the best possible round trip.

Requirements

• Can communicate fluently and have a large portion of problem-solving skills
• Is accurate and can think analytically well
• Is flexible and a team player, but can also work independently
• Has a good knowledge of MS Office package
• Has a very good knowledge of Dutch and English
• Has a basic knowledge of logistics
• Has geographical knowledge of France & Benelux (plus)
• Is open to permanent telephone shifts (Friday to Friday)
