Asset Care Technician

The Asset Care Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery within the section/area of ownership to ensure safety, quality, and high Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and availability within budget.

Requirements

• Diploma or an equivalent in Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years' hands on experience in maintenance
• Knowledge of SAP CMMS, environment, H+S, and quality system
• Knowledge of world class manufacturing techniques & standards such as 5S, TIPS and DMAIC
• Structured problem evaluation & solving skills using relevant problem-solving tools and techniques IPS and RCPS
• High interpersonal effectiveness to develop & sustain robust relationships
• Experience of working in a multi-functional team
• Communication – written and verbal
• Ability to prepare precise, concise, accurate and well-presented documents, with excellent attention to detail
