Senior Software Engineer I

Requirements

• Develop software for Platform as a Service (PaaS) teams
• Engineer solutions to meet customers' business problems
• Create scalable services that are performant and highly reliable
• Take part in an on-call rotation
• Operate our current solutions at scale
• Maintain and operate our products
• Develop, test, ship, maintain, and operate production-ready code and systems
• Experience in one or more of the following services: Distributed Databases, Fully managed infrastructure solutions, Serverless components, Kubernetes, Containers and Container Registries
• Ability to navigate the complexity of distributed systems to operate them in production
• Experience contributing meaningfully to discussions on architectures, implementations, design patterns, and processes
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies
• Experience working within a microservice architecture
• Comfortable with rapid execution, learning from failure, and building scale and reliability
• Demonstrated experience leading teams on small to medium sized projects
• Experience working on teams that operate across multiple time zones
