Corporate Restructuring Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Restructuring Mid-Level Associate to join a top-tier national law firm’s Financial Restructuring practice in its Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience handling sophisticated restructuring matters, including both out-of-court restructurings and workouts as well as complex Chapter 11 business reorganizations, representing debtors and lenders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant restructuring experience
• Meaningful experience with Chapter 11 matters, including debtor and lender-side representations
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong organizational, analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Admission to the Illinois Bar (required)
