Maintenance Manager

Develops and manages a proactive approach to plant maintenance by evaluating and improving Preventive Maintenance program processes and procedures. Ensures the preventive maintenance program provides adequate service coverage for each piece of equipment to minimize or eliminate unplanned equipment down time.

Requirements

• Develops and manages a proactive approach to plant maintenance
• Ensures the preventive maintenance program provides adequate service coverage
• Ensures the equipment has the most up to date control and drive systems
• Evaluates and determines root cause for unplanned equipment downtime
• Ensures the department manning levels are adequate
• Works with production departments to engage the operators in daily and weekly preventive maintenance
• Researches and implements techniques used to predict machine failures
• Ensures safety of staff and all employees
• Ensures all new equipment is incorporated into PR program
• Manages staff of Supervisors and technicians in a 24/7 operation
• Performs other duties, as assigned
