Job Description
The Exhibit Maintenance Technician is a high energy, fast paced problem solver with a proven ability to'make things' and is comfortable in a workshop as well as a public setting. The technician will maintain and/or rebuild existing exhibits while contributing to a high-performing customer experience.
Requirements
- Using design drawings, schematics, specifications, select appropriate materials and maintain all finished exhibits
- Install, maintain, rebuild and/or repair existing exhibits focus on all aspects of repair and integration for exhibits
- Actively identify and clear exhibit maintenance 'trouble tickets' to ensure short and long-term exhibit safety and functionality
- Drive forklift as needed for material movement (Certification/training can be provided as needed)
- Keep a clean and safe working environment: maintained daily
- Follow safety procedures in the shop and whenever using tools
