LPN Treatment Nurse (Wound/ Restorative Nursing)

We are seeking a LPN Treatment Nurse to provide wound/restorative nursing care to residents. The successful candidate will have a current license by the State Board of Nursing, as an R.N. or L.P.N., and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements

• Administers prescribed medications, orally and by injections.
• Provides treatments to residents per physician orders.
• Ensures proper handling and storage of medications and controlled substances.
• Maintains resident's medical record by way of documentation, as required by policy.
• Assists in planning, supervising and instructing C.N.T.'s; assigns daily work assignments to ensure positive outcomes for residents.
• Implements and maintains policies and procedures.
• Ensures that safe work practices are utilized.
• Ensures proper infection control techniques are utilized.
