The Head of Social Platforms is a critical senior role responsible for overseeing the daily social content, publishing strategy, and performance of DMG New Media’s brands across all key platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in social media, digital publishing or platform-led content roles
- Proven track record of managing and growing large social channels, particularly on Instagram & TikTok
- Deep hands-on understanding of daily social content with a focus on reactive news
- Strong analytical mindset with confidence using data to drive decisions
- Experience managing teams and leading day-to-day operations
- Excellent editorial judgment and understanding of news, entertainment, sport and pop culture
- Calm, organised and decisive, with the ability to bring structure to fast-moving environments
