Job Description
The Environment Generalist Supervisor oversees the creation of digital environments for film and television production. They are responsible for maintaining high quality standards, establishing efficient workflows for environment creation (render testing, optimising, and publishing), and working collaboratively with other department supervisors. This role requires strong communication and team leadership skills, along with proficiency in VFX packages and industry standard software.
Requirements
- Experience as an Environment Supervisor
- Significant experience within VFX feature films
- Thorough understanding of the VFX pipeline
- Proven team leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
- High-level knowledge of relevant VFX packages and software
- Strong working knowledge of a range of VFX industry software
- Good understanding of compositing
- Experience developing concept art
- Experience with procedural city/terrain generation and scattering tools
- Experience working with shoot data
- Passionate about film and Environments
- Strong knowledge and understanding of natural world and architecture
- Strategic, smart, detail-oriented, organized, proactive, self-starter, and calm under pressure.
