Job Description
DNEG is seeking a Head of Environments and Generalists to develop and support workflows in their EnvGen department. This role focuses on aligning tools, technology, and strategy to optimize the creation of VFX environments, involving team leadership, pipeline improvement, and collaborating with other teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of VFX workflows and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of environments within visual effects.
- 10+ years VFX industry experience.
- Significant supervision and/or management experience in VFX.
- Extensive knowledge of tools and software (Houdini, Nuke, Maya, Photoshop, etc.).
- Experience in line management.
- Advanced understanding of 3D, 2.5D and Matte Painting techniques.
- Advanced understanding of 3D, 2.5D and Matte Painting techniques for efficient workflows.
- Advanced understanding of 3D, 2.5D and Matte Painting techniques for efficient workflows.
