Rails & Infrastructure Engineer

Doconomy is a market leader in impact technology, dedicated to driving global climate action by equipping banks with financial tools that both educate and foster positive change. We're looking for a talented Rails & Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Product team!

Requirements

• Strong DevOps skills: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code, and Kamal.
• Expertise in managing DNS, CDN, and security via Cloudflare or similar tools.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, and troubleshooting production systems.
• Solid experience with Ruby on Rails and cloud platforms, especially AWS (GCP or Azure a plus), including architecture, deployment, and scaling.
• A proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership, if you see a problem, you fix it.
• A collaborative spirit, working seamlessly across product and infrastructure challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to guide team members, communicate with the wider organization, and document systems clearly (English is our working language and must be mastered).
• Familiarity with banking or payments systems is a plus.
