Job Description
Contribute technical expertise to a team designing, integrating, and testing radar and communication systems, and work closely with scientists and engineers to develop specifications for radar and/or communication frontend and backend components and apertures.
Requirements
- Familiarity with radar and/or communication systems
- Experience with RF systems
- Use of system simulators such as Simulink, VSS, and Systemvue
- Proven track record of successful execution and delivery on previous RF systems programs
- Working knowledge of RF systems
- Thorough understanding of system engineering principles
- Working familiarity of common passive and active microwave structures as well as antennas
- Ability to program algorithms in C++, MATLAB, or an equivalent
- Knowledge of module and subsystem operation/integration
- Familiarity with and experience programming FPGAs
- Ability to interact professionally with program managers, co-workers, and customers
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team of highly skilled engineers on complex projects
