HVAC Technician

Complete Building Services is hiring HVAC Technicians to support a large campus in Washington, DC. HVAC Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role requires 10 years of experience working on commercial HVAC systems and a HVAC journeyman license.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check to obtain site badge
• Experience with BMS systems and HVAC energy optimization strategies
• Ten (10) years experience working on commercial HVAC systems
• HVAC journeyman license preferred
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, preferred
• Knowledge of local and federal HVAC regulations
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and building management systems (BMS)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, energy management systems, and refrigeration equipment
• Facilities Maintenance, or related field preferred
• Ability to complete maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• EPA/CFC Refrigerant Handling Certification required
• Completed coursework in HVAC areas
• Must have working knowledge of 480V and below electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing systems
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
• Valid driver's license
