Material Handler - 1st Shift

Transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jack or using a lifting device attached to a hoist. Operate sit down, stand up, and high-reach lifts.

Requirements

• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device attached to hoist
• Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed
• Load parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in warehouse to trays or racks kit carts
• Follow set route through department to load kit carts
• Load and unload parts manually from paint line
• Maintain safety checks on necessary equipment
• Perform duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations
• Use electronic scanner to transact material as needed
• Keep aisles clean and orderly
• Assist in the instruction and training of others as requested by supervisor
• Complete preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance
• Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by management
