Dornier Power and Heat GmbH is seeking a Senior Expert in Boiler Technology / Power Plant Technology / Process Engineering to join their team in Vetschau, Dresden, or Berlin. The role involves conception and planning of technical systems, supporting plant construction and maintenance, assessing power plant facilities, creating feasibility studies, and optimizing plant operation, contributing to the energy transition and sustainable value generation.

Requirements

• Completed degree in process engineering, power plant technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
• Many years of experience in the described field of activity with sound knowledge in boilers, gas turbines, and energy/heat generation
• Practical knowledge in the design and planning of conveying and storage technology, especially for bulk solids
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Good communication skills, ability to work independently, and holistic thinking
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for business purposes
• Reliability, initiative, team spirit, and willingness for personal development
