Job Description
Dowbuilt is seeking Finish Carpenters for high-end residential construction projects. The role requires advanced interior and exterior carpentry skills, accurate execution of work, and a focus on quality, creative problem-solving. It involves reading drawings, managing layout, preparing the daily work plan, and working collaboratively with subcontractors.
Requirements
- Experience hanging doors and setting windows
- Experience waterproofing exterior doors and windows
- Proficiency with builder’s level
- Thorough understanding of structural framing details
- Knowledge of trim installation
- Familiarity with coping techniques for base & crown
- Familiarity with scribing techniques for cabinetry & other trim work
- Full understanding of tools required
- Crown molding install at various wall angles with coped or mitered joinery
- Paneling fabrication and install
- Familiarity with some stair work including handrails and skirt boards
- Wood finishing techniques
