Job Description
DOWL is a top-ranked, multi-disciplined consulting firm with over 60 years of experience in civil engineering and related services. The Project Archaeologist 1 position is a mid- to upper-level position that serves as one of DOWL's subject matter experts in the field of cultural resources management. The person in this position provides mid- to upper-level cultural resources support to DOWL's internal and external clients.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in anthropology or archeology or other closely related field
- 6- to 10-year track record as a CRM professional
- Specialized training and experience working in CRM
- Strong understanding of scopes, scheduled, and budgets
- Practical application of the following laws and regulations: NHPA, NAGPRA, NEPA, ARPA, relevant state laws
- Frequent direct communications with clients to resolve technical issues on moderate to complex projects
- Mentors others on technical tasks and skills
