Ocean Freight Specialist

DP World is seeking an Ocean Freight Specialist to manage freight forwarding operations, drive initiatives, and ensure operational excellence. The role involves managing file creation, account setup, monitoring compliance, and coordinating with partners. This position focuses on streamlining processes and ensuring efficient transportation and communication of goods.

Requirements

• Manage file creation and all services associated with freight forwarding and logistics
• Assist with account start-up.
• Monitor/audit files weekly for compliance of estimate input, profit margin setting and timely invoicing.
• Act quickly upon possible emergency situations within the life of an Ocean file
• Network with your fellow Operations colleagues to ensure proper support is given in case of workflow overload
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines
• Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze numbers and attention to detail
• Excellent command in both English and Hungarian
