Lead Software Development Engineer in Test

DTCC is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their IT CSS-Equities Delivery team. This role involves automation development and execution, functional and non-functional testing, ensuring software quality and validated software delivery. The SDET role is key to modernizing business flows and building automated tests for various business processes. The role involves collaborating with team members, understanding requirements, and implementing automated tests.

Requirements

• Proven experience of 5-7 years with automated functional and integrated tests
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, and/or a related field
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model
• Strong experience with automated testing
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, etc.)
• Knowledge of Databases and SQL preferred
• Detailed understanding of end-to-end integration testing, smoke testing, functional, and non-black box testing
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Java / Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
• Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
