Mitarbeiter*in im Finanz- und Rechnungswesen (d/m/w)

The DWI – Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials is seeking a Finance and Accounting Associate (d/m/w) for a temporary position, to be filled as soon as possible. The role involves processing business transactions in financial accounting, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and supporting the preparation of financial statements according to HGB. Requirements

• Completed a Bachelor’s degree with a business administration focus and/or a commercial apprenticeship
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
• Practical experience in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Very good knowledge of the legal basis relevant to accounting according to HGB
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Organizational skills and the ability to work independently and responsibly
• Pronounced communication and social skills
• Good knowledge of German and English (both written and spoken)
