PhD student (f/m/d) in the field of Life Sciences

The DWI – Leibniz-Institute for Interactive Materials is seeking a PhD student (f/m/d) in the field of Life Sciences. The position is part of an EU project focused on "Activation of proteins and genes by ultrasound," involving protein design, cloning, expression, and investigation in mammalian cells and tissues to control biological processes and explore therapeutic concepts. The ideal candidate will have a strong research background in molecular biology and microbiology and be eager to learn new techniques.

Requirements

• Completed studies (M.Sc. or comparable) in molecular biology, cell biology or biotechnology
• Highly motivated and team oriented
• Passion for multidisciplinary research and being eager to learn new techniques
• Strong research background in molecular biology and microbiology
• Excellent skills in the English language
