Job Description
Dynacare is seeking a Laboratory Assistant - LHSC to process blood samples and other laboratory specimens, enter requisitions and results accurately, and provide customer service to create a positive patient experience. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for creating an ideal customer experience, accurately entering data, and obtaining quality blood samples from patients.
Requirements
- CSMLS or BCSLS certification or MLA program accreditation
- Bachelor degree in a related scientific discipline or nursing
- Minimum 1 year patient-facing phlebotomy experience
- Customer-focused with a genuine care for patients' health
- Phlebotomy skills with ability to manage anxious patients
- Prioritize and self-manage within a deadline-oriented environment
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
