As a Clinical Educator, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the next generation of mental health professionals. You will provide day-to-day supervision, mentoring and support for students on clinical placement, design and deliver training programs, and facilitate clinical placements. Your leadership will help students grow in confidence and competence, while directly contributing to better mental health outcomes for young people in our community.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Clinical Psychology
- Current registration with AHPRA or relevant professional body
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills in youth mental health
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organisational skills and resilience
- Experience working with diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, LGBTIQA+, CALD, and neurodiverse communities
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate care
- Experience in clinical education and supervision aligned with registration requirements
