Job Description
At EarthDaily Analytics, we strive to build a more sustainable planet by creating innovative solutions that combine satellite imagery of the Earth, modern software engineering, machine learning, and cloud computing. We are currently looking for a Jr. Software Engineer to join our Wildfire & Forest Intelligence team.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year work experience in a software engineering role
- Experience with developing software within a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Agile software development and SCRUM processes
- Experience with remote sensing data including both passive and active sensors as well as meteorological and climate data
- Familiarity with common concepts in remote sensing
- Experience in GIS and/or optical or synthetic aperture radar (SAR) remote sensing an asset
