East Harlem Tutorial Program (EHTP), founded in 1958, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing educational outcomes for students from Pre-K to college. Through after-school programs, public charter schools, and the College Scholars program, EHTP serves over 1,600 students annually, preparing them with academic skills, character strength, and emotional well-being. With a commitment to racial equity, EHTP fosters an environment where scholars learn to challenge systemic issues and thrive.

High school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of experience working with elementary/middle school students, and experience teaching culinary arts
Dance Activity Specialist: Winter 2026
At least 2 years of teaching experience in Dance/Performing Arts, Associates Degree or 60 college credits, and experience working with diverse populations
Activity Specialist (Spring 2026)
2 years of teaching or career experience, Associate degree, 2 years of experience working with Elementary, Middle, or High School students
Elementary School Classroom Teacher (2025-2026)
Bachelor's degree, NY State certification, 2+ years of experience, experience with anti-racist pedagogy, ability to work with diverse populations
High School Inclusive Learning (Special Education) Teacher (2025-2026)
3+ years of experience in special education, Bachelor's degree or higher, and NYS Certification
Resident, East Harlem Teaching Residency (2026-2027)
Bachelor's degree required. 30+ credits of coursework in a liberal arts major (or an interdisciplinary concentration). No more than 18 college credits in education
