Job Description
The Assistant Director will direct the day-to-day operation of the Melrose and Patterson Older Adults programs, reporting to the Director of Melrose Older Adult Center. Responsibilities include fiscal management, supervision and staff development, and recordkeeping.
Requirements
- Bachelors' degree preferred with at least two years' experience in human services, or Associate degree with three years of experience; or High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assess priorities and actions.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Thorough understanding of DFTA policies and procedures.
- Effective communication skills, including strong public speaking, writing, and organizational skills.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish preferred) a plus
