Job Description
We are seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to join our team at East Side House Settlement. The successful candidate will work with children ages 18+ months to 5 years in a safe, supportive, and educational environment. Responsibilities include supervising the classroom, developing lesson plans, and collaborating with parents and staff to promote school readiness and community building.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience working with children ages 2-5
- NYC Department of Investigation Comprehensive Background Clearance
- NYC Department of Health Medical Clearance
- NYS Statewide Central Registry Clearance
- NYS Staff Exclusion List Clearance
- NYS Sex Offender Registry Clearance
