Instrumentation Technician

Eastern Controls, Inc. is a family-owned organization seeking an Instrumentation Technician to troubleshoot and repair instrumentation lines at customer sites in New Jersey and the NYC metro area. The role requires travel, occasional overnight stays, and adherence to vacation blackouts during outage season.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in technical field preferred
• 1-5 years in related field or environment
• Experience as an electromechanical field tech doing calibration and repairs preferred
• Demonstrates basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Ability and knowledge of how to use hand tools and electronic testing equipment
• Must be able to obtain certifications in all required ECI and Principal programs
• Ability to obtain and maintain TWIC and PSM credentials
• Forklift, Scissors, lift, and confined spaces certification may also be required
