Advanced Practice Provider II – (Nurse Practitioner II or Physician Assistant II)

This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) role focuses on managing health issues in the in-patient hospital setting, primarily during night shifts within the EVMS Department of Medicine. The APP will be a key contributor to patient care, coordinating healthcare, and utilizing telemedicine resources, while adhering to NCQA and Joint Commission standards. Opportunities exist for independent work and collaboration with physician teams.

Requirements

• Able to evaluate medical problems in the in-patient setting.
• Develops treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
• Creates and documents patient assessments and treatment plans.
• Participates in quality improvement programs.
