Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a self-motivated and reliable Direct Support Professional to work with adults with disabilities, helping them develop their skills and grow. As a Direct Support Worker, you will promote the individual growth of program participants in a safe and positive learning environment, providing input on and implementing the participant's Individual Plan, and responding to and reporting issues of concern.

Requirements

• High School diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or equivalent
• Ability to work with adults with disabilities, exercising patience and understanding
• Communicate effectively (verbally and written), and read, using the primary language within the workplace
• Exercise confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment as required by HIPPA
• Reliable transportation needed
• Valid Driver's License with Insurance, proof of current vehicle registration and safety check
• Freedom from any communicable disease or medical conditions that would interfere with the physical requirements of this position
