Job Description
We are seeking a qualified accountant with experience in variance analysis to join our Finance and Procurement teams as a Financial Accountant – Flight Operations. The role will be based in Luton and will involve supporting all accounting activities for Fuel, Crew, and Disruption costs, delivering internal and external financial reporting, and driving cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with experience in variance analysis
- Ability to communicate and challenge effectively at all levels
- Proven experience interpreting accounting complexity across balance sheet, cash flow, and P&L
- High attention to detail and ability to summarise complex information for non-financial stakeholders
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Excellent Excel skills (up to basic macros); Planning Analytics experience preferred
- Strong team player who can build effective relationships across functions
